Regenerative Economic Development to Re-Indigenize
Thursday, April 22, 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET
Chase Iron Eyes, Michelle Vassal, David Cobb
Post-Capitalism Conference eventee.co/event/52739
The capitalist economy is extractive, based on the accumulation, concentration and enclosure of wealth, power and decision-making authority. This session will explore how local communities can transition into a regenerative economy based on ecological restoration, community resilience, and social equity.
We will share the lessons learned in attempting to create Gouts Lakawoulh Hiwechk Fund (GLH Fund) (money that makes us well) and an Indigenous-controlled community land trust in which the Wiyot tribe, as land stewards, will have the ability to approve, modify or reject any and all proposed projects.

eventee.co/event/52739
Learning to sit with the emotions, befriend them and then release them allows healing and growth during a time of uncertainty. We can allow these emotions to rule our minds or we can choose the path of awareness. We notice the emotions and release them. Join us for a healing space which bring awareness to our emotions during a time of uncertainty.

This conference is offered at no cost to participants.
